The Evening Desert Safari is the classic Dubai experience — the one guests talk about long after the trip ends. A 4x4 Land Cruiser collects you from your hotel in the afternoon and heads for the red dunes of the Lahbab desert, where the real fun begins: thirty heart-racing minutes of dune bashing over waves of sand with an expert licensed driver at the wheel.
As the heat softens, we stop at the highest ridge for sunset — the moment the desert turns from gold to deep orange and every photo looks unreal. Then it's on to our Bedouin-style camp: camel rides, sandboarding, henna painting, falcon photos and Arabic coffee with dates as the stars come out.
The evening closes around the main stage with a BBQ buffet cooked fresh at the camp — live tanoura spinning, fire shows and belly dance under the open sky before your driver returns you to your hotel.

Is dune bashing safe for children?
Yes — our drivers are licensed by the Dubai tourism authority and drive family-friendly routes on request. Children under 3 are not recommended for dune bashing; we can arrange a gentler route straight to the camp.
What should I wear on an evening desert safari?
Light, comfortable clothes and sandals or trainers. Bring a light jacket from November to March — desert evenings get cool after sunset.
Is the BBQ dinner halal, and are vegetarian options available?
All meat is halal, and the buffet always includes vegetarian dishes. Tell us about allergies when booking and the camp kitchen will take care of it.
Can pregnant women join the evening safari?
Dune bashing is not suitable during pregnancy. We can arrange a direct camp transfer on a flat road so you enjoy the full evening without the bumpy ride.
How many people share one 4x4?
A maximum of 6 guests per Land Cruiser. Private cars are available if you prefer your own vehicle.
