A dhow is the wooden boat that carried trade along this coast long before anything here was tall. The modern ones are two decks, strung with lights, and they spend the evening moving slowly along the water while dinner is served.
It is the least strenuous thing we run and one of the most pleasant. You board, you eat, you sit on the open upper deck as the buildings light up on both banks, and a tanoura dancer performs midway through the cruise.
At AED 65 it is also the easiest evening to add to a trip that is already full.

Good to know
Is the dinner halal, and are there vegetarian options?
Yes to both. All meat served is halal and the buffet always includes vegetarian dishes. Tell us about allergies at booking.
Is this suitable for older guests and small children?
It is the gentlest tour we run — no walking, no heat and no bumps. It suits every age, which is why families often pair it with a desert day.
Will I get seasick?
Very unlikely. The boat stays on sheltered water and moves slowly throughout.
Is alcohol served?
No. Water, tea and soft drinks are unlimited and included.
