Most tour sites want you to create an account and pay in advance. We do neither, and the process confuses people at first because it is shorter than they expect.
Here it is, start to finish.
Step one: you send four things
Whether you use the booking form or WhatsApp, we need the same four things:
- Which tour
- Your date
- How many people — adults and children
- Your hotel or the area you are staying in
Anything else is useful but optional: dietary needs, a birthday, someone who should skip the dune bashing.
You do not need an account. There is no login on this website and no password to forget.
Step two: we confirm
Usually within the hour, seven days a week. You get back the pickup time, the total in AED and confirmation that the seats are held.
Until you have that reply, nothing is booked. Sending the form is a request, not a reservation — this matters in December when tours genuinely fill up.
Step three: the day
The driver arrives at your hotel in the pickup window. Be in the lobby at the start of it, and make sure the number you gave us can take a call or a WhatsApp message that day. That single thing prevents almost every delay we ever have.
Step four: you pay at the end
After the tour, with your driver. Cash or card.
Nothing is charged when you book. There is no deposit, and we do not hold your card.
We will never ask for card details in advance, by email or over WhatsApp. If anybody does that using our name, it is not us — please tell us so we can do something about it.
Changing your mind
Free up to 24 hours before pickup. Message us and it is done — moved to another day or cancelled outright.
Inside 24 hours, message us anyway. We would rather move you than lose you, and since you have not paid anything, cancelling costs you nothing either way.
If you are not at the pickup point and we cannot reach you, the driver waits as long as the schedule allows and then has to continue. That one counts as a no-show and the tour cannot be repeated the same day.
Why we run it this way
Three reasons, and they are practical rather than philosophical.
Weather. Sandstorms and heavy rain happen. If the desert is not safe we move or cancel your tour, and with nothing paid there is no refund to chase.
Flights. Delays are the single most common reason bookings change. A deposit would just turn that into an argument.
Trust. You are booking a car and a driver in a country you may not know, from a website you found ten minutes ago. Paying afterwards makes that decision considerably easier, and we would rather earn the money on the day.
What you can work out before you message
Every tour page has a calculator: pick your options and the number of guests and it shows the total before you contact anyone. The evening safari is the one most people start with.
If you would rather we just recommended something, say so. Tell us how many days you have and who is coming, and we will suggest the tour we would book for our own family.
Ready? Send your dates and hotel — it takes about a minute.
